Our Grand Opening
The rumors have been stirring around Boyertown since January, when I first covered the windows and began making changes in the shop that used to be Harry’s Tattoo. I heard it through the grapevine and saw it for myself in the Facebook groups. Many of you were very curious or had your own ideas about what was going on here.
I worked inside every day to prepare the space and transform it into something that would feel like home to me. When I’m here, I want to create. I want to imagine. I want to be surrounded by inspiration. And it’s all coming to fruition, exactly like I had hoped and planned for.
Just a few weeks ago, I uncovered the windows and began tattooing here. I wasn’t finished with the shop yet (and I will probably never reach a place where there aren’t new ideas and improvements I was to make), but it was time to let those who were curious have a look at what I’m doing here. And it was time to do some tattoos!
There is still much to do here, but today I want to make the announcement I’d been waiting for! Our Grand Opening party is going on the calendar on Sunday, July 13th! It feels so far away right now as I write this, but I know the time will fly by while I’m here tattooing and preparing.
So come join us in July to celebrate! There will be plenty of food and drink, live painting, giveaways, and more! I’m proud of what The Golden Torch has become already and grateful for the welcome that Boyertown is giving us already.
